Health: See the amazing benefits of Taking a moment to rest a few times throughout the day

Do you take the time to rest during the day? Resting is an influential part of keeping cells healthy. Every time a rest response is in play, our cells get quiet enough to do their job which is to be in a constant state of healing.

Taking a moment to rest a few times throughout the day will:

Lower blood pressure
Help the gut digest more efficiently
Increase immunity
Regulate insulin and cortisol
Lower inflammation
Lower anxiety and depression

Some of the ways I like to rest are:

Napping
Walking
Take a bath
Detach from all electronics for 1 hour
Deep breathing for 15 mins
Remove yourself from toxicity
Stretching
Listening to yoga and light music for 15 mins
