A new dawn in Oyo state, Nigeria as the Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi appoints chairmen and members of  two Commissions and one Board being inaugurated on Friday 11th August, 2017.


Here is the press statement from the Governor:

"Congratulations to the Chairmen and members of the two Commissions and one Board being inaugurated today.


You are coming on board as strategic partners to the Oyo State Government in our quest to transform our dear State.


Your choices were strictly in recognition of your past contributions to Oyo State, your competence and records of integrity believing that you will not change colour as you become Chairmen and members of the boards.


Let me restate that we are aware that the expectations of the people from this government are huge and rightly so.

Our people expect that we will take Oyo State from its current level to its former position of “first” in economy, infrastructure and social services.

This is why we carefully packaged our task in the State as restoration, transformation and repositioning.

I therefore enjoin you to tell the world, through your expected sterling performances, that we did not make a mistake in appointing you into these boards.

As men and women of high calling, we charge you to go and demonstrate the inestimable power of the human spirit to make a success of your different board and commissions"
